Atari games...That you don't know! well, now you can get the whole story

What can I say about Donnie Iris? Do You Compute? Ah Leah? Stagedoor Johnny? Bring On The 80's? these songs played in my walkman while I played Donkey Kong , Pac - Man and all the rest! This man's music was a part of my high school existence! And when I opened my 1st arcade, his music played more often than anything else on our jukebox!!! He helped in a large way define the MTV generation of the early 1980's! If you have never heard his music before, you can listen to it (and see some of his videos!) GO CHECK HIM OUT!!!

| This place was AWESOME!!! I lived about 4 hours from the Haunted Mansion at Long branch and I can tell ya'- IT WAS SCARRY!!! I went every summer for 5 years. There was so much to do! The pier had the BEST ARCADE! And the commercials were the BEST! Check it all out at this site devoted to a slice of the late 70's and early 80's when we were SO innocent! The Haunted Mansion was a 10,000 square feet, three-story collection of the grotesque, the bizarre and the horrible. It was located on the Long Branch pier in Long Branch, New Jersey. Unfortunately, in 1987 this ride and most of the pier completely burnt to the ground. Many people believe that this dark ride was one of the best ever built.

I have to say, if any TV show spoke to more people about their generation and wasn't given a fair chance, its Freaks And Geeks! If you live under a rock and STILL don't own a tv, here's the lowdown- Its 1980. Ten years of Reganomics have just started, and people's feet are still in the 70's. disco is Dying as we speak, and the young people are taking their first baby steps into the information age (I STILL cant program my VCR- thankfully I have a DVD player!!!) Home computers are a few years off, but Pac Man just hit the scene! It involves 2 different groups of kids at Mckinley High School- The freaks (the kids who hung out BEHIND the school) and the geeks (me!) and the trials and tribulations they went through The happy, and sad times they experienced are all put out for everyone to see as they are just trying to hide and wait to go out in the real world... ...Unfortunately we will never know what happened after the first season because the powers that be who think they know what everyone wants to watch decided that we did not like this Emmy® award-winning show and CANCELED IT!!! But fortunately for us Judd Apatow, Paul Feig, and the people at Shout Factory (these guys also did the awesome SCTV DVD box sets!) did bring the entire series to DVD!
BUY IT- YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED!!
